We have experienced positive development in our metal business, where tonnage and earnings have remained at a high level. At the same time, our collaboration with the producer responsibility organization Elretur has opened the door to a new and promising business area focused on the reuse and recycling of electronics.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, however, we must acknowledge that our financial performance does not meet our own ambitions. We have a responsibility to ensure that HJHansen Recycling Group remains a company in growth \u2013 a company that adds value rather than detracts from it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ambitions and Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ESG efforts are central to our development. Many companies are no longer required to report under CSRD. Although the requirements have been eased, we will remain ambitious and take responsibility for the role we play in society and within our industry. Therefore, we have appointed a Head of Environmental Policy to strengthen our environmental policy efforts and ensure that we stay ahead of current and upcoming legislation.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, we have adopted an ESG policy which, at Group level, will serve as our concrete management tool.
