Ecovadis

At HJHansen Recycling Group, we are continuously working to improve our impact on the climate, environment, diversity, and human rights. We are experiencing increasing demands from customers to document progress in our ESG efforts, and therefore we have chosen to be assessed by the independent third party, Ecovadis. This external evaluation is intended to ensure that we live up to the standards we set for ourselves and those we face from our value chain.

HJHansen Recycling Group’s Ecovadis assessment as of April 2025 again qualifies us for “silver” with an improvement in our score from 66/100 to 69/100. This places us in the top 15% of companies in the “Materials Recovery Industry” rated by Ecovadis.

Each year, Ecovadis evaluates our work within ESG areas based on comprehensive documentation from our side. This gives us a picture of where we have improved since last year, but also where we need to do better.

Ecovadis is the world’s largest independent agency that assesses companies’ sustainability efforts. More than 100,000 companies worldwide have been evaluated across 150 ESG categories, covering:
